YouTube to PPT: a slide deck built from the video's sections
Presenting what a video said usually means pausing, screenshotting and retyping. BlogPen builds the deck from the note instead: one slide per section, three points to a slide, the time in the corner.
Each time on a slide links to that second of the video, so you can play the moment in the room if someone asks where a claim came from.

TL;DR from the note
- Earth’s magnetosphere deflects solar material and helps preserve the atmosphere that makes life possible.0:00
- Solar-wind connections can open and close rifts in the magnetosphere, allowing energy in and sometimes triggering geomagnetic storms and substorms.2:02
- MMS studies magnetic reconnection to advance understanding of space physics and improve space-weather forecasting.3:03

Earth's Magnetic Shield
Earth’s Magnetic Shield0:00
- Remember that Earth’s magnetosphere deflects most solar material before it reaches us.
- Recognize the magnetosphere’s role in protecting Earth’s atmosphere and supporting life as we know it.
Space Weather and Magnetic Rifts1:31
- Remember that extreme space weather can disrupt communications, GPS, and electrical power grids.
- Treat the magnetosphere as a permeable shield: solar wind can connect to it and open rifts that let energy in.
- Know that rifts open and close frequently, and can range from small and brief to vast and sustained.
MMS Studies Magnetic Reconnection2:35
- Remember that MMS was launched to observe the electron physics of magnetic reconnection for the first time.
- Note that four MMS spacecraft flew in close formation to study reconnection on the front side of Earth's magnetosphere.
- Keep in mind that MMS also searched the magnetosphere's tail and contributed to space weather forecasting.
Written by BlogPen (note:v1) on 2026-11-05 and shown unedited. Times open the video at that second.
What you get
- A title slide with the note's title and source
- Up to eight point slides, three points each
- A flow slide drawn from the note's sections
- Times that open the video at the second they cite
- A .pptx that opens in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides
How it works
- Create a note from the YouTube link.
- Open the PPT tab and page through the slides as they will export.
- Download the .pptx and restyle it with your own template.
Good to know
Why three points per slide?
A slide is read from across a room. Three short points keep the type large; the rest of the section stays in the note.
Can I change the colours?
The deck uses the accent from your BlogPen palette. After download it is an ordinary .pptx, so any theme can replace it.
Does it include images from the video?
No. BlogPen does not copy frames or thumbnails from the video. The deck uses text and a drawn flow diagram.
